As a Field Service Engineer , you'll be the face of BEUMER on the frontlines—troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimising cutting-edge materials handling equipment at our customer sites.

Key Role

  • As a Field Service Engineer, you will work individually and as part of a team on various customer sites around the UK (and Ireland).
  • This is a customer facing role, you will need to produce detailed reports related to BEUMER sortation, material handling and industrial products.
  • Activities include: health checks, servicing, supporting installation projects, warranty, breakdowns, operational/residential site cover.
  • Deliver training to the customer and other BUK Engineers as required.
  • This role will involve travelling nationwide (including Ireland), as well as some international travel.
  • You will be able to perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Populating RAMS related to the work to be undertaken and ensuring H&S standards are adhered to.
  • As a BEUMER Group UK employee you have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.

You must co-operate with your employer and co-workers to help everyone to be safe in their work.

Qualifications

Ideally have an electrical engineering background – ONC or Equivalent

Experience

  • Similar roles in logistics and/or material handling equipment; Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrician, or similar background
  • Construction Site H&S experience
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • IPAF 3a/3b
