As a Product Marketing Director at Workiva, you will partner to lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our Financial Services sector (banking, insurance, and investments) across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for a strategic builder. You will own key aspects of the industry platform strategy, partnering with global leaders to shape vertical-specific offerings, accelerate regional momentum, and serve as the EMEA expert within a high-performing marketing organization.
You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Revenue Marketing to deliver solutions tailored to EMEA market dynamics. From co-leading vertical launches to presenting to executive stakeholders, you will ensure our GTM execution aligns with both regional customer needs and enterprise priorities.
What You'll Do
- Create and execute GTM strategies for Workiva's industry platforms in EMEA, tailoring approaches to the specific regulatory and competitive needs of banking, insurance, and investments.
- Lead regional platform launches, defining sector-specific messaging and coordinating cross-functional teams for maximum market impact.
- Craft differentiated positioning and messaging based on EMEA industry dynamics, buyer personas, and competitive intelligence.
- Consult with EMEA customers and Product Management to ensure solutions solve real-world regulatory and operational challenges.
- Influence and own pricing and packaging strategies for industry solutions in EMEA to align with regional value and growth goals.
- Drive regional thought leadership through blogs, webinars, white papers, and speaking engagements that elevate Workiva's credibility across EMEA financial markets.
- Support and consult EMEA sellers directly, providing messaging, enablement tools, and strategic guidance to accelerate deal cycles across multiple countries.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders globally to align strategy, shape EMEA GTM plans, and ensure regional insights inform the global roadmap.
- Measure and refine GTM performance using regional pipeline and revenue data to improve messaging and launch effectiveness.
- Present regular insights and strategic recommendations to regional and executive leaders to support platform expansion.
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing or closely related roles that could include: product management, industry or corporate marketing, and sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- B2B marketing or product marketing experience in the SaaS industry; experience supporting sales channels strongly preferred.
- Industry experience in the financial services sector, such as banking, insurance, or investment management.
- Proficiency in implementing product-led growth (PLG) GTM strategies, tactics, and frameworks.
- Demonstrated success influencing and collaborating with cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
- Experience analyzing pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance data to identify and optimize GTM opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and program management skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
- Up to 40% travel.
- Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
