You will be joining a well-respected design and build contractor operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects valued up to £1.5m directly for high-profile water providers. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Project Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Shrewsbury office with occasional site visits as and when required.
ResponsibilitiesYour new role as Project Manager will include:
- Leading the planning, coordination and execution of non-infrastructure projects
- Managing client relationships and providing technical guidance where required
- Overseeing project finances, procurement and resource planning
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and industry regulations
- Working closely with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve project milestones
- Preparing progress reports, documentation and project schedules
- Identifying and mitigating project risks to maintain high levels of service delivery
In order to be successful, you will bring:
- Proven project management experience within the water industry
- Excellent organisational and project delivery skills
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
- A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and lead from the front
- Solid financial awareness and experience managing project budgets
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as and when required
