Do you have a passion for the events industry? Are you confident at dealing with people at all levels? Based in Shrewsbury, we are responsible for the organisation of a large number of national and international exhibitions and are looking to recruit an Event Operations Assistant to join our team.

The position requires an articulate, enthusiastic, hard-working team player, who must have a real passion for events. You will also need to be flexible – this is not a 9 to 5 industry! – you must be able to work away for the duration of the events and be prepared to work weekends when required.

Day to day responsibilities will involve working on all organisational aspects of our shows, including general event administration, liaising with exhibitors by phone and email and chasing up and coordinating all information and documentation required for the smooth running of our events, floor plan management, venue and contractor liaison and the on‐site management of events.

An ability to deal with people of all levels and strong communication skills are essential. This opportunity offers the right individual who is looking for a career within the Exhibition/Events Industry to gain hands on experience from the ground up whilst working on nationally and internationally recognised events.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Operations Manager located in Shrewsbury.
