WSR is recruiting for a Part-Time Accountant on behalf of a friendly and forward-thinking accountancy practice.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pro rata, depending on experience
Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week, with the potential to increase

The Role
- Preparing self-assessment tax returns, management accounts and corporation tax returns
- Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment
- Reviewing limited company accounts prepared by other team members before finalisation
- Completing bookkeeping tasks using Xero and Dext
- Communicating confidently with clients through meetings, telephone calls and messages
- Providing proactive advice and helping clients better understand their financial position
- Managing your own workload and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
- Contributing to weekly team meetings and regular MS Teams check-ins
About You
- Hold a minimum of AAT Level 4
- Have at least three years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Be confident using Xero, with Dext experience also desirable
- Be able to manage their own workload and work independently
- Have strong communication and client relationship skills
- Be proactive, organised and comfortable identifying ways to improve clients’ financial processes
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team
