Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in financial control, process improvement, and cashflow management within a dynamic and growing organisation. Why Join Our Client? Work closely with senior leadership, reporting to the UK Financial Controller Lead and develop a team in our Finance & Administration function Take ownership of key financial processes, from cashflow forecasting to VAT returns Be a driving force behind process improvements and financial efficiency Management Accountant Responsibilities & Tasks Oversee and enhance financial systems and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance Manage cashflow, including forecasting and approval of payment runs Prepare and reconcile quarterly VAT returns Deliver timely month-end reporting and full balance sheet reconciliations Support budget-setting and internal/external audits Maintain car fleet records, assist with payroll, and manage fixed assets Work closely with the team to oversee accounts payable, receivable, and stock control Management Accountant Experience & Qualifications Qualified finance professional (AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Strong communicator, confident working with internal & external stakeholders SAGE experience (desirable) and Excel wizardry (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES) A team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and cost management If you're looking for a varied and rewarding role where you can make an impact, we’d love to hear from you
