WSR are recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for our respected client BSH, based in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Location: Corby

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Day Shift - 8am to 4pm - (May include working 1 in 4 Saturdays with a rest day during the week)

Role Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £13.85 p/h

Start date: 6 July 2026

We are seeking experienced and reliable Counterbalance Drivers to support our day shift operations at BSH Corby. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient unloading and movement of goods within our warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. Please note that this is a physically demanding role that requires extensive heavy lifting and the use of manual handling equipment such as sack barrows and manual pallet trucks in order to move and repack appliances such as Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Dishwashers and large oven Hoods as well as Forklift, so you will not be on the forklift continually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Counterbalance Forklifts to unload, and move products within the warehouse.
  • Tipping and putting stock away.
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure safety and operational standards are met.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and accurate record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Support the team with other warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift License essential with at least 1 year driving experience (will consider if expired after 2021).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently during rotating day shift hours.
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items as needed.
