Due to an increase in our pupil roll, we are looking for a number of enthusiastic and lively teaching assistants to work with pupils who have physical and communication difficulties from September 2026. The roles involve support in the classroom and a high level of physical work and personal care of pupils. We have vacancies in both our primary and secondary departments working with pupils with complex physical, health and learning needs.

We would particularly welcome applications from Turkish speaking candidates to better reflect the diversity of our setting. We are also keen to have applications from candidates with experience working in Early Years settings. There is the possibility of part time posts, working for two or three days per week.

We have purpose designed buildings co-located with mainstream settings and are a very successful school, graded as “outstanding” by Ofsted. High expectations, a positive attitude and teamwork are central to the success of the school.

Candidates must have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent. Successful short-listed candidates will be asked to provide proof of these qualifications at interview or be prepared to sit an equivalency test during their probationary period. References will be requested during the shortlisting process, therefore it is imperative that candidates approach their referees in advance and provide up to date contact details. We will not shortlist if we are unable to obtain references.

Visits to the school are actively encouraged. To arrange a visit or to discuss the posts further, please contact Sarah Kelly (Business Manager) on 020 7704 8127 or email sarah.kelly@cloudesley.islington.sch.uk

Closing date: Sunday 28th June at midnight. Interviews: week beginning 7th July 2026, or earlier by arrangement. We encourage early applications and reserve the right to fill the vacancies in advance of the closing date.
