The Role

As Head of Legal, you will own the firm's legal, regulatory, and governance framework across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, supporting fund operations, product development, commercial partnerships, and global expansion. You will also serve as the primary interface with external counsel, regulators, and service providers, ensuring the firm maintains robust compliance standards without slowing execution.

    • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across sales, marketing, and communications.
    • Establish scalable legal processes and documentation as the business grows.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators, and advisors.
    • Act as a clear, pragmatic communicator of complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
    • Partner closely with operations, finance, and investment teams.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years' experience in a senior legal or legal-operations role within crypto, asset management, or financial services.
    • Strong understanding of digital assets and crypto-native legal and regulatory frameworks.
    • Qualified lawyer or equivalent senior legal experience.
    • Proven exposure to multi-jurisdictional regulation (e.g. FCA, SEC, MiCA, offshore fund regimes).
    • Hands-on experience with fund governance, legal entity structuring, and cross-border operations.
    • Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.
    • Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and IP protection.
    • Experience engaging with regulators and managing external legal counsel.
