We’re seeking a Lead Arborist to head up a team of up to 15 skilled professionals on a private, high-profile landscaping site.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of arborists and grounds staff on-site.
- Oversee all tree care operations, including pruning, planting, removals, and health assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers, landscape architects, and horticulture specialists to maintain the vision and standards of the project.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
- Monitor and manage arboricultural equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to foster skill development and productivity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in arboriculture, with leadership/supervisory experience.
- Relevant arborist certifications (ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of tree species, diseases, pruning methods, and safe work practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
