Welcome to Ferris UK – A proudly family-owned Building and Restoration company serving the Midlands. We specialise in reinstating homes affected by fire, flood, and other property disasters. With care, craftsmanship, and compassion, we help turn houses back into homes – and we want you to join our journey.

As a key member of our restoration team, you\’ll be at the heart of making a real difference in people’s lives.

From initial repairs to final touches, you’ll use your carpentry skills to rebuild homes and restore hope.

  • Work across a 70-mile radius of our Redditch HQ
  • Visit customers in their time of need and help bring their homes back to life
  • Deliver high-quality craftsmanship with a smile
  • Represent Ferris UK with pride, professionalism, and empathy

About You – The Ideal Candidate

  • You’re a people person – friendly, respectful, and reassuring with customers
  • You enjoy teamwork and love seeing others succeed
  • You want to grow your skills or mentor others and pass on your knowledge
  • You bring a strong work ethic, a helpful attitude, and a keen eye for detail

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 5 years’ carpentry experience
  • A full UK driving licence (travel is part of the role)
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • Carpentry subskills and knowledge of the insurance repair industry are a bonus – but not essential

  • Hourly rates – £1.50 to £14.42 – DOE, + vehicle + fuel card + paid holiday, sickness and pension contribution
