We will support you in your growth as a tax advisor and have a proven track record with a training plan with tangible results for apprentices.
The role will comprise of:
- Processing of personal self-assessment tax returns
- Processing of partnership self-assessment tax returns
- Processing of forms P11D
- Preparation of basic income & expenditure accounts for sole traders
- Preparation of rental accounts
- Checking & agreeing PAYE coding notices
- Checking & agreeing taxation statements of account
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs by telephone or correspondence as required
- General day-to-day handling of clients’ tax affairs
In-house training of our systems and procedures will be given. Please note this is a junior role and may include other roles not mentioned above, such as administrative duties.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working person to join our busy tax team.
The successful candidate will be able to work in a team and on their own. The individual will need to be able to manage deadlines set by their colleagues. They should be hardworking and professional. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook. A full clean driving licence would be preferable.
Qualifications: GCSEs 5 or more graded 6 or above to include Maths and English. A/S and A Levels grade B or above.
