Job Role – Bookkeeper
The general role will be that of processing clients paperwork to ensure VAT returns and year end accounts can be prepared. You will have a set list of clients to look after, but will be required to assist on other clients as and when the client managers require you to.
You will report directly to the Client Managers.

This is a busy role with direct client contact and monthly deadlines to meet. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise in a busy environment, whilst managing client expectations.
Role requirements
The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following skills:
Due to the nature of the job, it is a requirement for the successful candidate to hold a full UK driving licence.
There are no qualification requirements for this role, however, applicants with AAT or similar and or experience within bookkeeping would be a benefit.
Skills:
The successful candidate should be hardworking and professional. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook. Full clean Driving licence would be preferable.
Qualifications:
GCSE’s 5 or more graded 6 or above to include Maths and English. A/S and A Levels grade B or above.
Remuneration
This role comes with an attractive package
Annual salary of £24,000 to £30,000 based on experience
Company Pension contributions of 3%
Annual leave of 21 days plus bank holiday, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times.
We offer 1 day per year volunteer day for you to use volunteering at a local charity of your choice (in addition to your annual leave)
On successful completion of your probationary period, we also offer up to 2 days per week WFH, this is booked in advance through our annual leave system
We have a team lunch once a month courtesy of Pinfields
We have a busy social calendar which all team members are invited to, but no pressure, if that’s not your thing.
