Hours, Pay & Shift Pattern
Hours of work are 7 am – 7 pm / 7 pm – 7 am, 4 on 4 off shift system (12‑hour shifts – rotating through days and nights). Pay: £14.95 per hour. Temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Location
Based near Old Leake – own transport required to get to site.
Role Overview
As a Machine Operative, you will play a vital role in our client’s operations, ensuring the smooth running of their production processes by operating machinery and maintaining quality control, whilst also ensuring production targets are met within a clean and efficient workspace.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to produce, process, and package food products efficiently.
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met by cleaning equipment, checking product consistency, troubleshooting minor faults, and keeping accurate production records.
- Carry out other duties such as boxing up, as required.

- Experience in a similar position within a food manufacturing company.
