We are looking to hire a permanent Accounts Assistant for our office – a local family run business in Boston. The role is 2-3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with some flexibility for the right person.
Candidates must be proficient in Sage Line 50 Accounts, Excel & Word.
Responsibilities- Manage purchase ledger and cashflow, petty cash and sales ledger.
- Deal with weekly timesheets and invoicing, credit control and banking.
- Prepare weekly journals and monthly reports, VAT, month end and year end activities.
- Other duties related to maintaining accurate accounts and financial records as required.
Note: candidates who can do all responsibilities except for month end and year end would still be considered.
Qualifications and Expectations- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 Accounts, Excel & Word.
- Experience with purchase ledger, cashflow management, sales ledger, invoicing, and basic financial reporting.
- Ability to keep up to date with changes such as Tax Bands and NI thresholds.
- Flexible and reliable team player with good communication skills.
Salary will be dependent on experience.
