Workforce is currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and creative Joinery Tutor who is willing to share their skills with others. The job will be to train young people for entry into the construction industry.
Essential Criteria
- A minimum Level 2 qualification or above in joinery.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a joiner in the construction industry.
- Current driving license and access to own vehicle.
Desirable Criteria
- A Level 3 qualification or above in Joinery.
- Previous experience of training and assessing joinery in a Further Education setting and/or Training Organisation.
- Certificate in Teaching Qualification TAQA Assessor Award Qualification.
- Grade A*-C in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
Applicants for this post must have good organisational, administrative and communication skills, an adaptable personality and an understanding of the particular needs and problems of young people from marginalised backgrounds and/or with disabilities.
