Supplying industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Oil & Gas, the company is investing in new technology and expanding its team.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced CNC Miller to set and operate a 5-axis machining centre, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.
You'll work closely with the Programming and Quality teams to maintain high manufacturing standards and maximise machine utilisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate a 5-axis CNC milling machine.
- Set tooling, fixtures and work offsets.
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections.
- Edit offsets and basic CNC programs where required.
- Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Complete quality and production documentation.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain high housekeeping standards.
About You
- Previous CNC milling setter/operator experience within precision engineering.
- Experience working to tight tolerances and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Confident using precision measuring equipment.
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Mazak experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided on the Mazak i-600 5-axis machining centre and PALLETECH automation system for the right candidate.
