This is an excellent opportunity for a welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work on aluminium and stainless steel components within a modern and professional workshop.
You'll be working on precision-engineered products where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components.
- Produce clean, precise welds to a consistently high standard.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Set up welding equipment and ensure it is maintained correctly.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.
Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, ideally working with aluminium and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or within a team.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Previous TIG welding experience.
- Experience welding aluminium and stainless steel.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding quality standards.

- Welding qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
- Fabrication experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
