A well-established engineering company in Redditch is looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers long-term stability and development opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality TIG welding, primarily on stainless steel
- Work with a range of exotic materials including titanium, duplex, and inconel (training provided where needed)
- Use both TIG and MIG welding processes across various jobs
- Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Complete welds that meet visual and dimensional inspection standards
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation
- Strong background in TIG welding, especially with stainless steel
- MIG welding experience is beneficial
- Familiarity with exotic materials is advantageous – training can be provided
