We are hiring for a Production Operative to undertake the preparation and application of paint on products of varying sizes in Tamworth. This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products for on-time delivery to customers.
Duties of a Production Operative:
- Preparing products using techniques such as shot blasting, surface cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections.
- Loading products onto the paint line and applying primer and powder coatings using electrostatic techniques.
- Mixing paint elements.
- Performing post-production quality inspections.
- Using hand and power tools to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Logging job times and reporting daily progress to the line manager.
