Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Tamworth. This is a permanent position offering excellent working hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brakes, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances while maintaining a right-first-time approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate Amada press brake machines
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings and route cards
- Ensure all parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
- Carry out self-inspection using verniers, height gauges, and measuring tools
- Identify and resolve production issues efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Support continuous improvement and team objectives
