Warehouse Operator to join a small, friendly warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with forklift licences to secure a temp-to-perm position with full training and long-term career prospects.
The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
A comprehensive handover and training period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
The Role
- Follow written procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure safe working practices.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Book in and store incoming stock.
- Transport stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
- Carry out stock taking and inventory control.
- Rebox and weigh smaller customer orders for dispatch.
- Process returned products and update stock records.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
- Unload and put away raw materials and other incoming deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- VNA Forklift Licence (preferred).
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
- Good command of the English language.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
