Warehouse Operator to join a small, friendly warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with forklift licences to secure a temp-to-perm position with full training and long-term career prospects.

The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

A comprehensive handover and training period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

The Role

  • Follow written procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure safe working practices.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Book in and store incoming stock.
  • Transport stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
  • Carry out stock taking and inventory control.
  • Rebox and weigh smaller customer orders for dispatch.
  • Process returned products and update stock records.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Unload and put away raw materials and other incoming deliveries.

Requirements

  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
  • VNA Forklift Licence (preferred).

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).

  • Previous experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
  • Good command of the English language.
