CNC Turner Programmer
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
The Company
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high-quality precision components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled machining team.
The Role
This is a permanent days-based position working on a variety of precision components. The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one-off prototypes through to batches of around 10-off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
- Programming, Setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
- Working with Fanuc controls.
- Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
- Manufacturing one-off and small batch components.
- Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
- Carrying out self-inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines.
- Good knowledge of Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience producing high-precision components to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience within a precision engineering environment.
