The role is responsible for ensuring effective demand planning, production scheduling, and resource alignment to meet customer requirements and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the planning function, ensuring robust processes and clear accountability.
  • Own and maintain demand and production planning processes to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Translate customer demand and forecasts into achievable production and capacity plans.
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, and senior leadership teams.
  • Monitor planning performance, KPIs, and service levels, driving corrective actions where required.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance availability, working capital, and stock risk.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, scheduling, and supply chain operations.
  • Support S&OP or equivalent cross-functional planning processes.

  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and planning methodologies.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate at all organisational levels.
  • Advanced Excel and planning tool capability.

Qualifications
