CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location: Aylesbury
- Pay: £15-£17 per hour
- Working hours: Flexible start and finish times between 6am and 6pm
40 hours per week
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a CNC Turner Setter Operator to join an established precision engineering and manufacturing business based in Aylesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who is confident setting and operating Fanuc-controlled machinery, producing quality components to tight tolerances within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
- Manufacturing precision components in batch quantities ranging from 30 to 200 pieces.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
- Inspecting your own work and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Working to tight tolerances of approximately ±0.01mm.
- Ensuring machines are operating efficiently and production targets are met.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong experience in CNC turning, including setting and operating.
- Confident using Fanuc-controlled machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- Experience inspecting components and maintaining tight tolerances.
- A quality-focused approach with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider manufacturing team.
