We are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation Operative to join a growing team based in Redditch, working within the modular construction sector.
The role involves installing and finishing modular units to a high standard. The position is based from Redditch, with regular travel to customer and site locations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and finishing modular units
- Carrying out general installation and fit-out work
- Using hand tools and equipment
- Applying silicone and carrying out sealing work
- Ensuring units are properly waterproofed and finished to a high standard
- Loading, unloading and handling materials when required
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Following all health & safety procedures and site requirements
- Travelling to various customer and site locations
- Working away from home when required, including overnight stays
About You
- Previous experience in modular construction, installation, fit-out or a similar hands‑on role
- Confident using hand tools
- Experience with sealing, finishing or waterproofing would be beneficial
- Reliable, hardworking and flexible
- Comfortable travelling and working away from home
- Green CSCS card essential
- DBS/BPSS/SE clearance would be desirable but not essential
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing as part of the recruitment/onboarding process
- Candidates must be comfortable with regular UK travel and overnight stays when required
