Sign Maker
Location: Redditch
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 4 days per week
Working hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Sign Maker to join a busy, well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch. The company specialises in producing high-quality, bespoke internal and external signage for a wide range of commercial clients.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling a variety of bespoke signage products.
The Role
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke signage from technical drawings and production schedules
- Cut, fold, shape and assemble sign trays
- Prepare signage for powder coating
- Work with built-up 3D letters and panel systems
- Handle a variety of materials including metals, acrylics, timber and plastics
- Experience with LEDs for illuminated signage is advantageous
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Work independently and as part of a wider production team
- Carry out occasional local deliveries and collections from suppliers
- Learn and develop additional skills within the factory environment
About You
- Previous experience as a Sign Maker or within a similar hands-on manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Practical and confident working with a range of materials and tools
- Able to work from technical drawings and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- A full, clean driving licence is required for occasional deliveries and collections
