We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join a global manufacturing company based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical, assembly, production or engineering experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a modern manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Duties Include:
- Mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Reading and following technical drawings and build instructions
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Carrying out testing procedures using specialist equipment
- Supporting production targets in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, fitting or engineering
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Mechanically minded with good practical skills
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Able to read technical drawings
