We are currently seeking a committed General Operative / FLT Counterbalance Operator to join a well-established chemical manufacturing company based in Redditch.

Pay Rates

  • £12.98 per hour – Day Shift
  • £16.23 per hour – Late Shift

Working Hours

  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm; Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm
  • Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:45pm – 2:00am

Availability for both shifts is essential.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on production role within a chemical manufacturing environment, supporting daily operations including packing, bottling, labelling, and FLT assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing finished goods from the production line with accuracy
  • Bottling and labelling products meticulously
  • Assisting with general manufacturing activities
  • Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely (valid licence required)
  • Loading, unloading, and relocating stock in a safe manner
  • Complying with stringent Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid, up-to-date FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Comfortable working within a chemical manufacturing setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
