We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Press Shop Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Stourport. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments who is eager to learn and develop new skills.

As part of the Press Department, you will be responsible for operating saws, breaking out laser-cut parts, and supporting the production process to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • Early finish every Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate saws safely and efficiently
  • Break out laser-cut parts
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and work from technical drawings
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Report any tooling or manufacturing issues to the Supervisor
  • Follow all health & safety and manual handling procedures
  • Support the wider team with additional duties when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous manufacturing or engineering experience preferred
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
