Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Handle payroll-related queries from clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, resolving them effectively.
- Perform both routine and more complex administrative payroll tasks.
- Set up and onboard new client payrolls.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with clients and internal teams regarding payroll matters.
- Establish pension schemes, submit pension schedules, and respond to related inquiries.
- Administer auto-enrolment and re-declaration of pensions.
- Stay informed on current payroll legislation and regulatory changes.
- Ensure all payroll processes comply with relevant regulations and data protection standards (GDPR).
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in using BrightPay payroll software.
- Experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice environment (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking ability and capacity to prioritize workload.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.
