Job description
The role of CNC Turning, setter operator, will include the following duties:
- Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc/Haas Controls
- Load tooling with correct offsets
- Upload Programs
- Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc
- Or Haas controls
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ideally having an engineering apprenticeship, however, experience is the overriding factor.
- Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
- Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
- Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
- Professional and self-motivated attitude.
- Good organisational & time management skills.
