Specialising in the design, manufacture, and assembly of precision components for the defence sector, our client is an industry leader backed by a global group. They are now looking to add an experienced CNC Mazatrol Programmer to their growing team.
Job Type: Permanent
Overtime: Widely Available @ x1.5 / x2
Shift Pattern: Straight Back Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30pm – 2:30am (Friday Off)
Job Description
As a CNC Mazatrol Programmer/Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Programming complex components directly at the machine using Mazatrol on Mazak Integrex i200 / j200 machines
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Setting up tools and work holding with correct offsets
- Uploading and editing programs where needed
- Running jobs from start to finish, ensuring top-quality standards
- Working on one-off and small batch, high-precision parts
Ideal Candidate Will
- Have solid experience programming, setting, and operating Mazak Integrex machines using Mazatrol
- Be confident working to tight tolerances in a high-precision environment
- Ideally have served an engineering apprenticeship (though experience is key)
- Be capable of working independently or as part of a small team
- Be quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Be flexible to support overtime as required
- Have a proactive, professional attitude with good organisational skills
