Property Clearance and cleaning Operative
Location: Nuneaton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:30
Pay: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Property Clearance Operative to join our team in Nuneaton. The role involves carrying out full property clearances, including removing furniture, appliances, household items and general waste, as well as cleaning properties once the clearance has been completed. The role involves heavy manual handling, driving and working in a variety of property conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full property clearances, including mattresses, bed frames, wardrobes, furniture, white goods and general household items.
- Load and unload heavy and bulky items safely and efficiently.
- Clean and tidy properties following clearance, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces and removing remaining waste and debris.
- Carry out garden and outdoor clearances as required.
- Drive a cage van/company vehicle and ensure it is safely secured and returned to the office overnight.
- Work safely and professionally in properties that may be dirty, unpleasant or have strong smells and pest issues.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Comfortable driving a cage van and securing the vehicle overnight.
- Physically fit and able to carry and move heavy/bulky items.
- Comfortable carrying out cleaning duties and working in varied property conditions.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
