WF Tech are proud to be representing a highly respected precision engineering company based in Northampton, who are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their growing team. Over their fifteen years in business, they have worked with a wide range of clients, including those in the aerospace, petrochemical, and medical sectors. They also specialise in precision engineering for the motorsport industry, having spent four years working at Silverstone and building strong relationships with some of the leading Formula 1 teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer known for quality, precision, and innovation.
The Role:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC HAAS milling machines using Fanuc controls and GibbsCAM software
- Working on 1-off and small batch precision components
- Using a variety of 3, 4, and 5 axis machines – including Haas equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Working closely with engineers and quality teams to ensure first-class results
The Person:
- Time-served CNC Miller with proven experience in precision engineering
- Confident with Fanuc controls and ideally GibbsCAM programming
- Able to work independently on 1-off and prototype work
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship
What’s on Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
- Plenty of overtime available at enhanced rates:
- Mon–Fri: 1.3x
- Saturday: 1.5x
- Sunday: 2x
