HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: Newent
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week
Overtime: 1.33x after 45 hours
We’re recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established company based in Newent.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for long-term, permanent work with a varied role and competitive overtime rates.
The Role
- Delivering products across England
- Driving a mix of 18-tonne HGVs, 7.5-tonne lorries and 3.5-tonne vans
- Early starts from 3am onwards
- Up to 50 hours per week
- Overtime paid at 1.33x after 45 hours
- Occasional overnight stays
The Ideal Candidate
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of UK motorway networks
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, professional and flexible
- Own transport due to the location and early start times
