QA Technician .

What You'll Be Doing
As a QA Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the manufacturing process by:
- Carrying out First-Off, In-Process and Final Inspections
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements
• Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment including
- Verniers
- Micrometers
- Height Gauges
- Other inspection equipment
- Completing inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality documentation.
- Identifying non-conformances and supporting investigations into root causes.
- Assisting with corrective and preventative actions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Supporting internal quality audits and process compliance.
- Working closely with Production, Engineering and Management teams to resolve quality issues.
- Supporting customer and supplier quality activities.
- Maintaining ISO quality systems and documentation.
- Promoting a safe, organised and high-quality working environment.
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a QA Technician, Quality Technician, Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer within manufacturing.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good computer literacy and experience completing quality documentation.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Highly Desirable
- Fabrication, Welding, CNC Machining or Precision Engineering experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
- Internal auditing experience.
- Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement knowledge.
- Experience using CMM Measuring Equipment.
