About the Company
A well-established precision engineering company based in Cradley Heath is looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer with experience using Winmax controls. Specialising in low to medium volume machining for high-precision industries like aerospace, motorsport, and general engineering, the company is known for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
The Role
As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce accurate, high-quality components. You will be working mostly on one-off or small batch parts, with a focus on precision and detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming CNC mills using 3-5 axis Hurco WinMax controls
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Offline programming capabilities ideally with Fusion 360
- Interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
- Machining components to tight tolerances
- Conducting quality checks using standard measuring tools
- Working closely with the team to optimise machining processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with Hurco CNC milling machines
- Confident in programming, setting and operating independently
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and machining techniques
- Experience with low volume, high-accuracy work is ideal
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and a good communicator
