CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location: Esher, Surrey
Salary: £20-£24 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 39 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are recruiting for an established and growing precision engineering business supplying components into demanding industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Oil & Gas.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role
- Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.
- Set tooling, work-holding and offsets.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspection.
- Troubleshoot machining and make necessary programme/offset adjustments.
- Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential.
- 5-axis experience would be highly advantageous.
Requirements
- Proven CNC milling experience.
- Strong programming, setting and operating experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Aerospace/Defence experience would be advantageous.
- CNC/CAM programming experience would be beneficial.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
