About the Role
We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join our busy team in Coalville.
As a Food Production Operative, you will play an important role in the production and preparation of food products, working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working across ambient, chilled and frozen production areas, so applicants must be comfortable working in different temperatures.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on a food production line and assisting with the manufacturing and packing of products.
- Preparing, handling, packing and labelling food products to the required standards.
- Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Following instructions and completing tasks accurately.
- Working in ambient, chilled and frozen environments as required.
- £12.71 – £15.67 per hour, depending on shift and working area.
- Additional bonuses available for working in frozen sections.
- Full training provided.
- Opportunity to work within an established food production environment.
About You
Previous experience in food production or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
