A highly advanced precision CNC manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire is seeking a hardworking, accurate, and experienced CNC Turner to join their well-established team. The company supports a wide range of sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, and Robotics, operating at an F1-level standard within a clean, modern, and highly efficient engineering environment equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machine tools.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure CNC turning machines run efficiently with minimal downtime while producing high-precision components to exact drawing specifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting machines and defining datums
  • Proving out new jobs
  • Editing and adjusting machine offsets
  • Carrying out first-off inspection checks
  • Maintaining strict machining tolerances
  • Interpreting detailed engineering drawings
  • Working closely with inspectors to ensure all tolerances are met
  • Managing material identification and control
  • Planning workloads effectively with Team Leaders

Ideal candidates should have experience in most of the following areas:
