We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Welder to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Bromsgrove. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder with experience welding structural steel up to 50mm thickness, looking for stable day shift work with competitive pay and long-term opportunities.
Duties Include:
- MIG welding structural steel components up to 50mm thickness
- Multi-pass welding on heavy gauge materials
- Working from engineering drawings
- Fabricating and assembling steel sections
- Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in structural steel welding preferred
- Strong MIG welding experience on heavy gauge steel
- Experience welding material up to 50mm thickness
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Coded welding qualifications would be an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
Hours of Work: Day shifts (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience
