Based in Bradford, our client is a precision engineering specialist, covering a wide range of industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, medical, utilities, chemical packaging and recycling.
The role of CNC Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
- Programming, Setting & Operating Milling machines, using Haas or Fanuc Controls
- Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling Machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship; however, experience is the overriding factor.
- Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
- Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
- Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
- Professional and self-motivated attitude.
- Good organisational & time management skills.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Turning machines with Fanuc or Haas controls.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.
- Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship, but experience is the key factor.
- A professional, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
