Salary: £22.00 - £23.00 per hour (including shift allowance, dependent on experience)

Shift: Nights - 3:45 PM to 2:00 AM

Overtime: Regularly available, paid at 1.5x standard rate

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, primarily using Fanuc or Haas controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC Milling machines using Fanuc or Haas controls.
  • Utilise basic inspection equipment to ensure products meet required quality standards.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and produce work to fine tolerances.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine and production issues.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to on the shop floor.
  • Be flexible and willing to work overtime as required by the business.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.
  • Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship, but experience is the key factor.
  • A professional, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
