The predicted salary is between 37000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Based in Aldershot, our client offers a range of CNC machining, prototyping, and other engineering services of the highest quality to a variety of industries including aviation, scientific, defence and motorsport.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A high degree of experience and skill programming and setting CNC lathes.
- Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
- Able to use initiative in the tasks undertaken.
- Positive, courteous, and flexible manner needed for working with our positive, courteous and flexible team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To assist the planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
- Working on a variety of Fanuc 2 & 3 axis lathes.
- Option to program offline using Shopturn CAD/CAM.
- Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per our company procedure.
- Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
- Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches.
- Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
- Working to established and developing company procedures in a continuously improving environment.
