We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business operating within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, sales support, account management, or internal sales experience who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting business growth.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, handling enquiries, and supporting sales activity through regular customer engagement. You'll work closely with customers, external sales teams, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and ensure they progress through to dispatch
- Handle customer enquiries relating to stock availability, pricing, and delivery
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular communication
- Conduct outbound calls to existing and inactive customers to identify opportunities and promote products
- Prepare and issue customer quotations
- Support the external sales team with account and quotation information
- Organise transport for specialist deliveries where required
- Resolve delivery and order issues efficiently, escalating where appropriate
- Liaise with manufacturing, logistics, and other internal departments to support customer requirements
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM and order management systems
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, account management, sales support, or office administration
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Team player with a proactive and flexible approach
- Someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and going the extra mile
