Extrusion Setters wanted in West Bromwich. £14.00+ per hour DOE + shift allowance. Permanent positions available with days and rotating shifts.
Excellent opportunity for experienced Crosshead / Co-Extrusion Setters. Workforce are recruiting experienced Extrusion Setters for an established manufacturing business in West Bromwich. We're specifically looking for people with hands-on Crosshead or Co-Extrusion experience, particularly those who have worked with wire coating, hose or pipe extrusion.
There are multiple shift options available:
- Permanent Days – 6AM–6PM, Monday–Thursday, 48 hours per week, £14.00+ per hour DOE
- Permanent Days – 7AM–7PM, Monday–Thursday, 48 hours per week, £14.00+ per hour DOE
- Rotating Shifts – 39 hours per week
Week 1: Monday–Thursday: 6am–2pm, Friday: 6am–1pm
Week 2: Monday–Thursday: 2pm–10pm, Friday: 1pm–8pm
£14.00+ per hour DOE + 22% shift allowance
What experience do you need?
This is a genuine Setter position, so you must have previous experience setting and running extrusion production lines. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Crosshead extrusion
- Co-extrusion
- Wire coating
- Hose extrusion
- Pipe extrusion
- Setting up production lines
- Running and monitoring production
- Packing production lines
Experience with the following materials is highly relevant:
- PVC
- Polyurethane
- Megalon
- Nylon
Please note: Blown film extrusion experience alone will NOT be suitable. We're specifically looking for Crosshead / Co-Extrusion experience.
