Welder Fabricator – Exciting Workshop Role

NN8 Area (Wellingborough)

Up to £17.00 per hour DOE

Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

We are working with a well‑established engineering & manufacturing specialist based in Wellingborough with decades of experience supplying precision components and engineered solutions to demanding industries including defence, transport and bespoke fabrication sectors.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a company known for quality workmanship, reliability and long‑term staff retention.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Weld to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints & weld symbols
  • Perform TIG & MIG welding to a high standard
  • Prepare, align, cut & fit materials prior to welding
  • Ensure all welds meet required ISO / EN quality standards
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools & consumables
  • Complete weld logs and quality documentation
  • Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet production deadlines

Training & Development

Coded welding training fully supported and provided.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Previous welding & fabrication experience
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings
  • MIG & TIG welding capability
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Reliable and professional attitude

Experience within structural steel, piping or pressure environments would be advantageous — but not essential.

Working Environment

  • Workshop‑based role
  • âš¡ Overtime available
  • âš  Full adherence to Health & Safety procedures essential

Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

  • 10:00am – 10:10am
  • 12:30pm – 1:00pm
  • 3:00pm – 3:10pm
