Workforce Manufacturing are working with a leading UK steel fabrication workshop who are looking to strengthen their skilled in-house team with experienced Steel Fabricators. This is a genuine long-term opportunity to join a well-established and growing fabrication business, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop environment with overhead cranes and a fully LEV-compliant setup. You’ll be working on high-quality structural steel projects, including work up to EXC 3 UKCA standards, so attention to detail and pride in your work is key. This is not a short-term contract — it’s a stable, secure position with a business that invests in its people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Fabricating structural steelwork from engineering drawings
- Reading and interpreting GA and fabrication drawings with confidence
- Marking out, cutting, drilling, and assembling steel components
- Producing accurate, high-quality work to specification
- Working independently or as part of a skilled workshop team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years’ steel fabrication experience
- Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Confident across full fabrication processes (marking out to assembly)
- Reliable, consistent, and quality-driven approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
