Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per year

Overview
We\’re looking for a hands-on Stores & Inventory Manager to lead warehousing and materials control across goods-in, raw material storage, sub-contract transfers, stock issues, and waste control. You\’ll play a key role in stock accuracy, process compliance, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all stores operations: booking in, kitting, stock movements, and traceability.
Maintain accurate stock records, support MRP/ERP usage, and manage BOM/kitting.
Work with procurement to ensure material availability and control stock levels.
Lead the stores team: training, development, and performance.
Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and security procedures.
Support waste management and safe storage of hazardous materials.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and procurement teams.

Requirements
Essential:
Secondary education
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
1-3 years in a similar engineering/manufacturing role
ERP/MRP experience
Understanding of BOMs and kitting
Desirable:
Familiarity with ISO 14001, 45001, EN (phone number removed), Defence/Rail/Automotive standards
